ANNUAL HOWDEN TOWN RUN

The annual Howden Town Run is taking place once again on Wednesday 5 August 2026. This marks the seventh running of this very popular event where over three hundred runners of all ages take part in a run over three distances in and around Howden town centre and the Howden Marsh.

The 1k run is for entrants up to a maximum age of 11 years and is limited to 100 runners.

The 5k and 10k runs involve up to 300 runners.

Entry to the event can be done via the web site “www.howdentwonrun.co.uk and can be done from Friday 13th March from 17:30

Register as quickly as you can as the places are filled very quickly !

The event is affiliated to England Athletics and is once again generously sponsored by HOWDENS.

Funds raised last year were divided equally between The Howden Minster and The Howden Shire Hall – see attached photos.

Any funds raised this year will once again by divided between local Charities.
